The Master’s degree programs of the Department of Management:

  • Amministrazione e Controllo Aziendale (ACA) >> 236 places
  • Business Administration (BA - English medium) >> 75 places
  • Direzione d’Impresa Marketing e Strategia (DIMS) >> 237 places
  • Finanza Aziendale e Mercati Finanziari (FAMF) >> 119 places

have a capped number of places.

The number of places dedicated to category 990 is indicated next to each degree program.

 

Access to the Master’s degree programs is subject to the participation in the admission test. Alternatively, candidates can submit a GMAT or GRE certificate according to the instructions below indicated.

 

Two independent sessions of the admission test will be held in April 2024 and September 2024 and each of them will result in two separate rankings.

The provisional rankings for the second session of the test for admission to the Department of Management's Master's degree programs (cat. 990) have been published on the Albo di Ateneo numero repertorio 4584 dated 13/9/2024.

Attention: the content of this page is a summary of the “Regulations for admission to the Master’s degree programs 2024-2025”. We recommend a full reading of the Regulations, in which you can find the basic requirements of adequate personal preparation, as well as the procedure to follow for applicants holding a foreign qualification, applicants with disabilities, learning disorders (LD) and any other specific information.

 

 

 

Language of the admission test

The test will be in Italian if you choose to enrol in the following programs (except for 5 questions in English):

  • Amministrazione e Controllo Aziendale (ACA);
  • Direzione d’Impresa Marketing e Strategia (DIMS);
  • Finanza Aziendale e Mercati Finanziari (FAMF).

 
The test will be in English if you choose to enrol in:

  • Business Administration (BA – English medium)

 

Please note: during the second session of the admission test, if you select the Business Administration program as your first or second choice, you must take the admission test in English. 

 

Test composition, test duration, syllabus and minimum score

The admission test consists of 36 questions on specific subjects with multiple choice answers. Only one answer (out of four) is correct for each question.

 

In the Italian version of the test, a subset of 5 questions is in English.

 

In the English version of the test (for the Business Administration program), all 36 questions are in English.

Remember that you can only enrol for the Business Administration program after taking the test in English.

 

The test lasts 45 minutes.

 

The Syllabuses for the Italian and English versions of the test, available in the documents section, are designed to inform applicants about the main topics that are considered to be part of the basic knowledge necessary for the studies they will undertake. Some questions may regard topics related to those included in the textbooks indicated in the Syllabus.

 

Registration for the admission test

If you have previously registered at UniTO Portal and you have already the access credentials (SCU), you can submit the application for the admission test through the MyUniTO personal page.
 

  1. Log in to the University Portal (by selecting login on the homepage, in the upper right box) and authenticate with your credentials (username and password), obtained after the registration at the portal for enter your MyUniTO.
  2. After authenticating, select the item "Enrolment” in the upper left menu and afterwards the item "Pre-enrolment to courses with a restricted number of places”.
  3. If you hold a GMAT/GRE certificate submit it in the attachment section.
  4. Fill in the online application form.
  5. At the end, print the application for the admission test in which you will find the pre-registration number. Keep it with care

 

If you still do not own your UniTO credentials (SCU), you can sign in following the steps on the dedicated page of the UniTO Portal.

 

 

First session: April 2024

Date of the test: 10th April 2024

 

Test modality: in presence

 

Application period: from 19th February to 19th March 2024

Number of possible choices

When submitting the application, the applicant must select only one degree program. It is not possible to select multiple options and the option selected in the application shall not be modified in any way.

Please note: applicants choosing the Business Administration program without submitting the GMAT/GRE certificate must take the admission test in English. For all the other degree programs, the test will be in Italian.

 

 

Number of available places

In the first session, the available places per degree program correspond to 80% of the total number:

  • Amministrazione e Controllo Aziendale - 189 places 
  • Business Administration - 60 places 
  • Direzione d’Impresa Marketing e Strategia - 190 places 
  • Finanza Aziendale e Mercati Finanziari - 95 places 

 

To the above number of places will be added:

Any places in the category of "Non-EU candidates residing abroad" and "Chinese candidates in the Marco Polo project"  but still vacant upon completion of the test session.

 

 

Publication of the ranking lists

► The provisional ranking lists have been published on the Albo di Ateneo numero repertorio 2910 dated 23/5/2024.

► The final rankings lists have been published on the Albo di Ateneo numero repertorio 3891 dated 17/7/2024 and on the MyUniTO personal page under "Enrolment - Pre-enrolment to courses with a restricted number of places".

 

For details regarding the rankings see the "Regulations for Admission to Master's Degree Courses a.y. 2024-2025."

 

On your MyUniTO personal page you will find your status:

  • Admitted”-----> you can enrol by confirming your pre-enrolment online
  • Not admitted”-->  you would be eligible, but excluded from the ranking because you are not in a useful position compared to the places provided.
  • Rejected” ------> you are excluded as your score is lower than the minimum threshold established in the official Call

 

 

Enrolment

If your status is “Admitted” you can enrol from 30th July to 1st August 2024 - as long as you obtained an undergraduate degree by 26th July 2024 - on your MyUniTO personal page.

 

In the event that you could or would not enrol in the timeframes above-mentioned (July/August 2024), you will have to retake the admission test or submit the GMAT/GRE certificate in the second session, in order to be reallocated on the ranking list.

 

 

Second session: September 2024

Date of the test: 6th September 2024 (please, see the timetable on this website).

 

Test modality: in presence

 

Application period: from 17th June to 15th July 2024

Number of possible choices

In this session, the applicant will have the possibility to select two degree programs, specifying a first and a second choice.

In any case, the selected options shall not be modified.

 

Please note: applicants choosing the Business Administration program without submitting the GMAT/GRE certificate must take the admission test in English. For all the other degree programs, the test will be in Italian.

 

Example:

if you selected in order of preference:

  • 1st choice: Master’s degree program in Amministrazione e Controllo Aziendale;
  • 2nd choice: Master’s degree program in Business Administration;

since Business Administration is one of your choices, you must take the admission test in English.

 

 

Number of available places

In the second session, the available places per degree program correspond to 20% of the total number:

  • Amministrazione e Controllo Aziendale - 47 places
  • Business Administration - 15 places
  • Direzione d’Impresa Marketing e Strategia – 47 places
  • Finanza Aziendale e Mercati Finanziari - 24 places

 

In addition to the aforementioned number of places, those ones remaining vacant upon completion of the first enrolment procedures in July/August 2024 will be allocated to the category:“Italian candidates; EU candidates and equivalents; non-EU candidates legally residing in Italy”.

 

Publication of ranking lists

► The provisional ranking lists have been published on the Albo di Ateneo numero repertorio 4584 dated 13/9/2024.

The final rankings will be published by 25th October 2024 on the MyUniTO personal page under "Enrolment - Pre-enrolment to courses with a restricted number of places" and on the Albo di Ateneo.

 

For specifics regarding the ranking lists creation, see the “Regulations for admission to the Master’s degree programs 2024-2025”.

 

On your MyUniTO personal page, you will see your status:

Admitted”-----> you can enrol by confirming your pre-enrolment online
Not admitted”--> you will have to wait for a place to be available (repechage). Check your status on your MyUniTO personal page frequently, to ensure that you see the repechage in time
Annulled” -----> the candidate is admitted to the program of his/her first choice and therefore the second choice is annulled;
Rejected” -----> you are excluded as your score is lower than the minimum threshold established in the official Call

 

 

Enrolment and repechage

First timeframe for enrolment: from 28th to 30th October 2024 - as long as you obtained an undergraduate degree before the enrolment - on your MyUniTO personal page.

 

After the enrollment deadlines, any vacant place left will be reallocated according to the following time schedule:

  • first repechage: 4th – 5th November 2024
  • expression of interest in continuing with the repechage procedure: 7th - 8th November 2024
  • second repechage: 12th - 13th November 2024
  • third repechage: 15th  - 18th November 2024
  • fourth repechage: 20th - 21st November 2024

Those applicants who do not express their interest in continuing with the repechage procedure during the relevant timeframe (7th - 8th November 2024) will be cancelled from the ranking list and shall not be reinserted without exceptions.
