The fourth edition of the Lear Competition Festival is scheduled in Rome from 24 to 27 September 2024.
During the four-day Festival learning and networking opportunities converge to create a dynamic hub for the antitrust community. The event offers a unique opportunity to bring together professionals working in the competition and regulatory sector, allowing the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
The Lear Competition Festival involves various stakeholders, including authorities, international organizations, multiple law firms and companies.
The program includes two opportunities dedicated to young talents:
- the Poster Session;
- the Young Talent Competition Award.
Poster Session
The Poster Session will take place on the first day of the festival (24 September 2024), in a dedicated exposition space. The Poster Session is the perfect opportunity for students and researchers to showcase their research in competition law and/or economics.
Following the Poster Session, a networking aperitif will take place.
Participation is free, but it is necessary to register for the event via the online form.
Participants in the Poster Session will receive free access to the Lear Competition Festival.
Young Talent Competition Award
The Young Talent Competition Award is open to post-graduate and PhD students aspiring to pursue professional careers in competition law, economics, policy assessment, or regulation.
The proposals will be evaluated by a scientific committee. The best proposal will receive a prize of €1500 and the opportunity to participate in the 2025 edition of the Trento Summer School on Advanced EU Competition Law & Economics.
